Engagements run 12 months, invoiced monthly. The term protects you as much as it protects us: we staff your engagement properly and never drop your books mid-year. Pay the year upfront and get 2 months free on the retainer (Recovery is excluded; we don't ask a business under cash pressure to prepay). The one-time onboarding fee covers system setup, historical clean-up, and your reporting build; you pay it once. Transaction and recovery engagements are time-bound by design. Every engagement under NDA.
One invoice, bill, or bank line item that needs individual handling. Automated sales from a connected gateway or subscription platform (Stripe, POS, app stores, Amazon) are counted as their settlement batches, capped at 10 transactions per platform per month. We charge for the work, not for your sales volume.
Bands are assessed on a rolling 3-month average, never a single month. Crossing a threshold triggers a conversation before it triggers an invoice. Movement works the same way in both directions.
Band placement assumes standard complexity. Businesses with heavy cash handling, multi-currency operations, or high dispute/refund volume are scoped individually. Above 400 countable transactions a month is scoped, not published.
